The Nature of Puyu(璞玉)  Porcelain

Crafted in Dehua, Fujian—the birthplace of Blanc de Chine—Moonjade is made from Puyu(璞玉)  Porcelain, a contemporary jade-like porcelain developed from Dehua's celebrated white porcelain tradition.

Its dense body and finely vitrified surface create exceptional clarity, allowing light to move gently across the porcelain with a subtle jade-like glow. The low-porosity material also helps preserve the character of different teas, reducing flavour retention between infusions while beautifully revealing the colour of the liquor.

Moonjade is offered in four softly muted tones inspired by the colours found in nature rather than bold pigments. As daylight shifts, each finish reveals subtle changes in depth and reflection, giving the porcelain a living quality throughout the day.

Holding approximately 130 ml, Moonjade is proportioned for traditional gongfu tea brewing, where smaller vessels encourage greater control over every infusion.

Inside the teapot, an integrated spherical ceramic filter allows tea leaves to expand naturally while keeping the pour clean and uninterrupted. The short spout delivers a smooth, precise stream, and the balanced handle provides a comfortable grip through multiple infusions.
